Studio news from His Room as He Left It

september Drew’s nightstand from start to finish

acrylics on cut and glued cardboard and polymer clay

august 2025

my gosh, I took on a lot this year, and with a great deal of help it all came off beautifully.

even with Drew’s trash being thrown out and someone “switching on” his amp and breaking the knob, I feel quite happy with how things turned out. it’s actually very touching (no pun intended) that people interact with the work in this way. a friend said, “you’re just lucky no one’s tried to move in!”

what a treat to share Drew’s room “in the round” with the process drawings on the walls.

thanks to:

Dana Weidman, Pasqualina Azzarello, and and the ECA committee for inviting me to exhibit

Kim Kules, Dana Weidman, Scott, Jenna Wikler, Pasqualina Azzarello, Maggie Hebert, Josh Phillips, and Dax for your sturdy presences, carrying and transport, and logistical and moral support. extra special thanks to Kim and Josh.
